Our Story

Our story started in a bar in Kenya and has been evolving with our community.

Pano and Maxi knew each other for years only as Crypto Twitter degens. But, when Pano (Daniel Elkins) funded a $100k humanitarian service trip, Maxi (Uros Trbovic) attended it, so they met and decided at a gin joint in Kenya to make as much impact on this world as they could. That's how they kickstarted DeGenerous DAO, which first made a $125,000 charity donation.

Our roots in humanitarian efforts continue to influence our commitment to positive social impact. From our inception, we have utilized transparent governance systems to involve our community in shaping our services and initiatives.

We are working on sustainable impact by raising enough social capital through a community-bonding story and avatar evolution to gamify charitable contributions and build disruptive products taking away power from the incumbents to give it back to the users and creators.

We're not just focused on the digital realm and are proud to say we're using the best of both worlds, having a continuous real-life impact with Web3 technology. Our flagship app is being used every day by kids in a leading gaming museum in Europe, and we're changing thousands upon thousands of lives through the power of service.
